Dairy Dream

I was visiting Barcelona, Spain, when, on an impulse, I decided to take my first-ever high-speed rail ride to the Salvador Dali Museum in Figueres, Spain, about 90 miles north of the city. I was entranced by the museum's roof, which sported all these egg-shaped sculptures balanced on top of the building. I'm a writer who was working on an essay I titled "Egg Head," the euphemism for calling someone a nerdy genius. Much to my surprise and delight, I took this photo of the museum and plan to use it as a visual aid to support my text when submitting my essay for publication.

A visual response I sent to a friend after we had a silly, heated July 4th discussion over why I prefer tea to coffee in the morning, because he reproached me as an un-American Anglophile.
