Sapporo snowy night

The photo was taken in Sapporo Japan in December 2022 during my trip, I used a full spectrum camera to capture the shot, it was cold and sowing, with neon light reflecting on the ground covered in snow and ice. The photo was edited in a cyberpunk style, as I wanted to highlight the color of the night. This photo was from my "Psytopia" series.

The ongoing photographic series, "Psytopia," is a compelling display of the fusion of reality and fantasy, capturing w.vv.vv's unique perception of the world. The artist used their work to express their chaotic thoughts and emotions, creating dreamy images that transport the viewer to their unconscious mind. The artist spent countless nights wandering the streets in different cities capturing the photographs, aiming to create an atmosphere and mood out of regular street scenes that often go unnoticed. Some of the photographs from the series were taken from back alleys, places people seldom venture into or find interesting. Through expert photo manipulation, the artist crafted a world that evokes a sense of loneliness amidst the bustle of busy cities. By emptying the streets or leaving just one person in the scene, a stark contrast is created between the vibrancy of the city and the desolation of its inhabitants. Alternative colors express detachment from the collective consciousness and resonate with the feeling of being labeled as a societal outcast. Each photograph delves deep into a psychic dimension, portraying an otherworldly hallucination of ordinary cityscapes. "Psytopia" is a testament to the power of art to evoke emotion and inspire introspection, reflecting the artist's journey through a labyrinth of the psyche.

The image captures the generational tradition where the youth evolve into tenders of the land in honor of their ancestral roots. The innocence ephemeral, it ripens into the weight of duty.

June 17th, I believe it was Saturday in the afternoon.  There is a skatepark that won't show up on your gps in Milwaukee, where people sweat, elbow a buddy after they said something stupid, drink and share cigs during dusk and oft until 4 am.  Sometimes the lone wolf skaters will work on…

A series of photographs taken by the artist in Paris is paired with personal diary entries written on the same day as the images. The project explores inner adaptation, loneliness, vulnerability, and self-observation in a new city, where the artist strives to preserve her identity.

In the summer morning, the sunshine pours onto the surface of the Yundang Lake, and the egrets and big fish are busy catching small fish. The egret was one step ahead of the big fish and caught the small fish. The big fish rushed out of the water, opened its big mouth, made a silent protest, and…
