Self-portait in isolation

This is one of the first photographs i took after breaking out of a mentally abusive relationship. The pain and confusion disappeared for a bit when i put myself in front of the camera again. The nakedness felt liberating, as my mind was cluttered with shame, sorrow and guilt.
