Au nom du rêve [In The Name Of The Dream]
In June 2024, I was invited in Lomé, Togo, by Togolese choreographer Kossivi Sénagbé Afiadegnigban to lead an intensive two weeks workshop for 20 African dancers, coming from ten different countries. My creation project's name was "Au nom du rêve" (In The Name Of The Dream). On the last day of my presence in Lomé, I suggested to the group of dancers that we walk the streets of the working-class neighborhood in which we were based, to make dancing portraits of each of them. Some have chosen to be in pairs, like this photo with Kodjo Joseph Adando and Nicolas Bertrand Kakanou.
