Sidewalk Tree

Urban environments are often seen as symbols of human ambition and control. However, they are inherently temporary and must constantly adapt. This photograph of a tilted bench as a consequence of the trees undergrowth, explores how urban spaces—seemingly symbols of human control—are ultimately fragile and forced to comply with organic change. It highlights nature’s quiet defiance, reminding us that our cities are transient, reactive, and ultimately not truly built to coexist with life’s unpredictable, slow evolution.

Reflected

I was filming and thinking about how to create a universal image of god. When I found this construction in a beach creek, it suggested to me the eye of god and that the perfect symmetry of reflection is a kind of divinity.
