In this photograph, my mother stands by the open refrigerator, retrieving food she prepared especially for us. After a year apart, my daughter and I have finally come to visit her, and this reunion fills the home with a special warmth. For my mother, feeding us is much more than simply offering food; it’s her way of expressing maternal love, embracing us without words, and making up for all that was missed during our time apart.

The main point of interest in my work is the existential part of the human being, the ambivalence of our emotions and feelings, the reflection of the expressions of the true self in the world around us, both in private and public cases. Representing our observations through the combination of shapes, color and light in our environment, photography, as a medium, in a personal way, is the embodiment of the way of life of the modern man.
