Thorns. This is what catches us sometimes emotionally, visually or physically, creating pain or delight. But it will never leave you indifferent .

You, My Anchor

This image is a frame from my moving image work. In the full video, this scene reflects the emotional disconnect I experience with my family as a queer individual, while highlighting the ongoing support and affirmation I receive from my partner. The gesture depicted also symbolizes companionship and moving forward together, serving as an anchor amidst the feelings of drifting.

700 Million Years

As humans, we strive for longevity and perfection whilst overlooking the simplicity of sea creatures such as these. Jellyfish existed long before us, long before even the dinosaurs, they are some 700 million years in the making, simply moving gently with the tides, some evolving to live forever.

As the UK struggles with Lockdown fatigue during the Covid19 crisis, couples and friends escape their homes to enjoy the warm weather and exercise. Swimmers respect the social distancing rules, cooling off in the River Lea, Hackney , London UK. So to get this shot I went out armed with my 70-200mm lens . The brief was - to get a pretty picture of people pushing boundaries of social distancing and the relaxing of lockdown rules from Sunday. I've got to be honest cycling around London parks armed with my long lens made me feel really uncomfortable!
