- I' see life differently. I always have. I was born with a congenital eye anomaly. Photography brought stillness and clarity to my wavering sight. My professional career—as a photographer and editor with a major metropolitan newspaper and magazine—enabled me to expand and refine my art. For the past decade I have experimented with photographic painting: a technique using light, movement and symmetry to create contemporary photographic art. My influences include Henri Cartier-Bresson (a painter himself), Edward Weston and Duane Michals.
